Founded in 1948 as Pak Rubber Industries and incorporated in 1962 as Samad Rubber Works, we are the pioneers in developing textile-based manufactured rubber products. These products include inflatable boats, inflatable & inherently buoyant life-jackets, pneumatic & self-inflating mattresses, and storage tanks. Building on our experience in textile we ventured into manufacturing intricate articles based on technical textiles for the armed forces. This new product range includes rucksacks, chest rigs, and sleeping bags.

With the necessary infrastructure and qualified human resources in place, entering into the field of garment manufacturing was a natural step for us, and well in keeping with our spirit of constantly exploring new avenues.

Samad Apparel is a venture of Samad Group of Industries. It is a family-owned corporation now run by its third generation. Set upon the vision of bringing sustainability and growth to Pakistan’s textile industry, the parent group came up with a strategic decision to establish a woven garment manufacturing plant as Samad Apparel in 2009.
