Shama Goods Transport Services is a logistics and fleet management company operating from Karachi. The company provides transportation for dry cargo and temperature-controlled goods through a fleet including Isuzu, Mazda, and Hino trucks, supported by telematics, mobile DVR systems, and GPS tracking.
We are seeking a Tech-Savvy Fleet Operations Assistant with a DAE Mechanical background to support daily fleet coordination, vehicle readiness, and technology-enabled monitoring. The role involves working with drivers, maintenance teams, and operations staff to keep transport activities efficient and compliant.

We are seeking a Tech-Savvy Fleet Operations Assistant with a DAE Mechanical background to support daily fleet coordination, vehicle readiness, and technology-enabled monitoring. The role involves working with drivers, maintenance teams, and operations staff to keep transport activities efficient and compliant.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor GPS, telematics, and mobile DVR systems and escalate unusual events or route deviations.
- Assist with vehicle dispatching, trip documentation, driver coordination, and delivery status updates.
- Maintain records for inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, fuel usage, and vehicle availability.
- Support mechanical checks and coordinate workshop follow-ups for Isuzu, Mazda, and Hino vehicles.
- Track temperature-controlled shipment requirements and report operational exceptions promptly.
What we’re looking for
- Working knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, basic diesel mechanics, and preventive maintenance practices.
- Ability to use GPS tracking, telematics dashboards, mobile DVR systems, and routine fleet reporting tools.
- Coordination skills for working with drivers, workshops, dispatch teams, and customers.
- Accurate record keeping for trips, inspections, fuel, maintenance, incidents, and vehicle utilization.
- Good written and spoken communication, with the ability to escalate issues clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools for logs, status reports, and operational summaries.
- Problem-solving, attention to detail, reliability, and willingness to work in a fast-paced transport environment.
