What you’ll be doing
Quran Majeed Academy is seeking an English Quran Teacher in Karachi to provide clear, engaging, and respectful Quranic education for learners from different backgrounds. The teacher will support students in developing accurate recitation, understanding foundational concepts, and building consistent learning habits in a structured educational environment.
Key responsibilities:

- Teach Quran reading, recitation, pronunciation, Tajweed, and basic Islamic studies in English.
- Plan and deliver lessons according to each student's learning level and progress.
- Explain concepts clearly, encourage questions, and maintain a supportive classroom experience.
- Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and keep progress records.
- Adapt teaching methods for children, teenagers, and adult learners as required.
- Coordinate with academy staff regarding schedules, learning goals, attendance, and student development.
- Promote respectful conduct, punctuality, regular practice, and a positive learning environment.
What we’re looking for
- Strong Quran recitation with accurate pronunciation and practical knowledge of Tajweed rules.
- Fluent spoken and written English with the ability to explain lessons in simple, learner-friendly language.
- Ability to teach students at beginner and intermediate levels using structured lesson plans.
- Patience, empathy, cultural sensitivity, and effective classroom or one-to-one teaching skills.
- Capability to assess learning progress, identify weaknesses, and provide clear corrective feedback.
- Good time management, punctuality, attendance discipline, and professional communication.
- Comfort using digital learning tools or online classroom platforms when required by the academy.
- Commitment to respectful conduct, student safeguarding, confidentiality, and continuous improvement.
