What you’ll be doing
Zaeem Food, a Rawalpindi-based snacks and spices manufacturer operating since 1993, is seeking an Accountant to support accurate financial recordkeeping and day-to-day accounting activities. The role will help maintain reliable financial information for production and business operations.

- Record daily sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments in the accounting system.
- Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices, and supporting financial documentation.
- Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, supplier accounts, and customer accounts.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll support, and expense tracking.
- Monitor inventory-related accounting records and coordinate with production and procurement teams.
- Prepare periodic financial summaries, reconciliations, and reports for management review.
- Support tax documentation, audit preparation, and compliance with applicable accounting requirements.
- Safeguard confidential financial information and follow established internal controls.
What we’re looking for
- Working knowledge of bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Ability to prepare bank, cash, supplier, customer, and inventory reconciliations accurately.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, filtering, and organized reporting.
- Experience using accounting software and maintaining properly supported digital and physical records.
- Strong attention to detail when checking invoices, vouchers, payments, and transaction entries.
- Understanding of basic financial reporting, expense control, and documentation for audits and tax work.
- Ability to coordinate professionally with production, procurement, sales, suppliers, and management.
- Integrity, confidentiality, time management, and the ability to meet recurring reporting deadlines.
