What you’ll be doing
AlMueen School is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join its academic team in Gujranwala. The successful candidate will create an engaging, structured learning environment and help students develop strong scientific understanding through clear instruction, practical activities, and regular feedback.

- Plan and deliver chemistry lessons aligned with the school curriculum and student learning objectives.
- Explain chemical concepts, equations, laboratory procedures, and scientific principles in an accessible manner.
- Prepare demonstrations, experiments, worksheets, assessments, and other instructional materials.
- Supervise laboratory activities and maintain appropriate standards for safety, cleanliness, and responsible chemical handling.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, assignments, practical work, and examinations, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate relevant progress or concerns to parents and school leadership.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, school events, and other academic activities.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of chemistry concepts, laboratory methods, and secondary-level science curricula.
- Ability to deliver clear, engaging lessons using demonstrations, experiments, questioning, and differentiated instruction.
- Competence in lesson planning, classroom management, assessment design, grading, and student progress tracking.
- Practical understanding of laboratory safety, chemical storage, protective equipment, and risk awareness.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills in English and/or Urdu, with the ability to explain complex topics simply.
- Patient, organized, approachable, and committed to supporting different learning needs.
- Comfort using digital presentation tools, online learning resources, and standard school documentation.
