The foundation is seeking an LHV / Nutrition & Community Health Officer to contribute to health education, preventive care, nutrition awareness, and community outreach activities. The successful candidate will work with community members, families, local stakeholders, and foundation colleagues to promote healthier practices and improve awareness of maternal, child, and general community health.

- Conduct community health and nutrition awareness sessions for individuals, families, and groups.
- Provide basic health guidance, maternal and child health education, and referrals where appropriate.
- Support screening, household visits, outreach camps, and community-based health activities.
- Identify nutrition and health concerns, maintain accurate records, and prepare activity reports.
- Coordinate with local partners, volunteers, and field teams to improve participation and outreach.
- Promote hygiene, sanitation, immunization awareness, breastfeeding, balanced diets, and preventive healthcare practices.
What we’re looking for
- Valid LHV qualification with practical knowledge of maternal, newborn, child, and community health.
- Understanding of basic nutrition, breastfeeding, child growth, hygiene, sanitation, and preventive healthcare.
- Ability to deliver clear health education sessions to diverse communities.
- Experience conducting outreach, household visits, screenings, referrals, or community mobilization.
- Strong interpersonal, counseling, listening, and culturally sensitive communication skills.
- Accurate documentation, basic reporting, record maintenance, and follow-up abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with nonprofit teams, volunteers, local partners, and community representatives.
- Professional integrity, empathy, confidentiality, organization, and commitment to social impact.
- Fluency in Urdu; knowledge of local languages and basic English documentation is advantageous.
