The role focuses on building relationships with individual and corporate clients, providing appropriate insurance solutions, meeting sales targets, and collaborating with underwriting and operations teams to ensure timely policy issuance and client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, and field outreach.
- Present, explain and sell a range of general insurance products (motor, health, property, liability) to individuals and businesses according to client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quotations, submit applications, and follow up to ensure timely policy issuance and delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the company CRM.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and contribute to business development plans.
- Coordinate with underwriting and operations to resolve documentation and issuance issues.
What we’re looking for
Must-have:
- Proven experience in insurance sales, brokerage, or financial services with a track record of meeting sales targets (around 3 years).
- Strong knowledge of general insurance products: motor, health, property, liability.
- Experience conducting field visits, face-to-face presentations, and client meetings.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office (Word, Excel) and ability to maintain accurate sales records.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and documentation for insurance applications and claims processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills; self-motivated and target-oriented.
