Product Designer

StarTech Engineering Pvt. Ltd., an established autoparts manufacturer in Lahore, is seeking a Product Designer to join the engineering and product development team. The role focuses on designing and improving components for motorcycles and tractors, converting functional requirements into manufacturable components, and supporting continuous improvement and new product introductions. Key responsibilities:

• Create 2D and 3D conceptual and detailed designs for autoparts using CAD tools, ensuring designs meet functional, assembly and manufacturing constraints.


• Develop and refine design specifications, tolerances, material selections and surface treatments for motorcycle and tractor components.


• Collaborate with engineering, tooling and production teams to optimize designs for stamping, casting, CNC machining and assembly processes.


• Produce engineering drawings, BOM entries and revision-controlled documentation; support prototype build and testing activities.


• Perform design validation through FEM/static checks, tolerance stack-ups and coordinate with analysis engineers as needed.


• Support quality and supplier interactions, assist with production handover and address manufacturability issues.
