About the role

Imani School is hiring a Mathematics Teacher for Grades 3-5 at its Rawalpindi campus. The teacher will deliver standards-aligned, engaging mathematics lessons that build foundational numeracy, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding. The role involves collaborating with school leadership and grade-level colleagues to implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and foster an inclusive classroom culture.

Key responsibilities

Plan and deliver daily mathematics lessons for Grades 3-5 using age-appropriate methods and materials.
Create lesson plans that progress understanding in number sense, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, and introductory data concepts.
Differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including remediation and extension activities.
Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adapt instruction.
Maintain student performance records, prepare progress reports, and communicate with parents/guardians.
Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and contribute to curriculum development and school-start activities.

What we’re looking for

Must-have: Strong knowledge of primary mathematics concepts for Grades 3-5.
Experience planning differentiated lessons and using manipulatives, visual models, and formative assessment strategies.
Classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
Ability to design assessments and use data to inform instruction and interventions.
Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and parent engagement.
Comfort with basic classroom technology (interactive whiteboard, presentation tools) and willingness to learn school systems.
Collaborative teamwork skills and readiness to contribute to curriculum development and school-start activities.
