Imani School is hiring a Mathematics Teacher for Grades 3-5 at its Rawalpindi campus. The teacher will deliver standards-aligned, engaging mathematics lessons that build foundational numeracy, problem-solving, and conceptual understanding. The role involves collaborating with school leadership and grade-level colleagues to implement curriculum plans, assess student progress, and foster an inclusive classroom culture.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver daily mathematics lessons for Grades 3-5 using age-appropriate methods and materials.
- Create lesson plans that progress understanding in number sense, operations, fractions, measurement, geometry, and introductory data concepts.
- Differentiated instruction for diverse learners, including remediation and extension activities.
- Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and adapt instruction.
- Maintain student performance records, prepare progress reports, and communicate with parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with grade-level colleagues and contribute to curriculum development and school-start activities.
What we’re looking for
- Must-have: Strong knowledge of primary mathematics concepts for Grades 3-5.
- Experience planning differentiated lessons and using manipulatives, visual models, and formative assessment strategies.
- Classroom management skills and ability to create an inclusive, positive learning environment.
- Ability to design assessments and use data to inform instruction and interventions.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for reporting and parent engagement.
- Comfort with basic classroom technology (interactive whiteboard, presentation tools) and willingness to learn school systems.
- Collaborative teamwork skills and readiness to contribute to curriculum development and school-start activities.
