What you’ll be doing

About the role:

  • Supervise day-to-day civil works and internal finishing works on-site for architectural and interior design projects in Islamabad.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades and material deliveries to maintain schedule and workflow.
  • Interpret construction drawings and specifications; provide technical clarification to contractors; ensure work matches design intent.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with approved materials, workmanship standards and site safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain site records: daily reports, progress photos, snag lists and RFIs; report progress to project managers.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers and MEP teams to resolve on-site issues and implement design changes.
  • Track progress against programme, identify delays, propose mitigation measures and assist in recovery planning.
  • Inspect tests and third-party inspection results; verify rectification of non-conformances.

What we’re looking for

Must-have:

  • Minimum 7 years proven experience supervising civil works on architectural/building projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, structural elements, concrete works, blockwork, plaster, waterproofing and finishes.
  • Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural details and coordinate with consultants.
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors, site scheduling and quality control inspections.
  • Knowledge of local construction codes, site safety practices and material testing procedures.
  • Competent in creating and maintaining site documentation: daily reports, snag lists, RFIs and progress photos.
  • Good communication and coordination skills for liaison with architects, engineers, clients and site teams.
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with project management or site reporting apps is an advantage.
