Accounting People is a different class of accountants. As our name suggests, our difference lies in the care we take of the people we work with.

We provide all the first-class accountancy and related services you would expect: including audit, bookkeeping, payroll, start-up help, taxation, and compliance.

But what is important to us is people. We go beyond simply offering first-class accountancy services because we genuinely care about the people in our clients’ businesses and the impact our work has on them.

Our Story

Accounting People was born out of a chance meeting between our founders Ian Luke and Rashid Iqbal. These two experienced accountants met while working together before forming their own, separate accountancy businesses. They often called on each other’s expertise and realised that they both wanted to build a new kind of accounting business. Ian’s focus on customer service and Rashid’s entrepreneurial experience were an ideal combination and they became partners in 2012, forming Accounting People.

The award-winning company now serves clients across the UK and around the world, in Europe, the Middle East, the US and Australia.

We genuinely care about the people who work for our clients’ businesses. We don’t see accountancy services as being just about ‘numbers’. What we do is actually about people, and the impact our work has on them and their lives.
