ZRC IS A CAUSE TO RAISE AWARENESS IN MENTALLY RETARDED CHILDREN IN PAKISTAN. THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, WE CHANNELIZE THE RELEVANT FACTS AND INFORMATION FOR AN ENHANCED UNDERSTANDING OF EDUCATIONAL ISSUES OF SPECIAL CHILDREN IN PAKISTAN. OUR AIM IS TO MAKE THE PUBLIC IN PAKISTAN SPEAK UP FOR IMPROVEMENT IN EDUCATION NOT ONLY MORE ASSERTIVELY BUT ALSO WITH INFORMED OPINIONS. WE BELIEVE IN PLAYING OUR PART FOR THE SAID CAUSE IN PAKISTAN. Physiotherapy
The Zainab Centre provides Physiotherapy by professionals to improve the gross motor skills of the child by using latest equipment and methods.

Speech Therapy
Speech therapy is provided to children who face difficulties in the area of speech and language development like articulation disorder , fluency disorder and delayed speech.

Occupational Therapy
Zainab also provides occupational therapy to enhance occupational skills in children with special needs, to help improve their fine motor skills, self-help skills and develop sensory perception.

Vocational Training
The Zainab Rehabilitation Centre recently started vocational training for children to develop their skills and capabilities through vocational training in order to bring them into the mainstream into society.

Social Development
Social Development enhancement through out door programs i.e picnic, sports, visits to the Zoo and other recreational facilities etc. Our centre registers children that are interested into Special Olympics. These programs develop and improve physical fitness, Self-confidence, and help the child to grow mentally, socially and spiritually.

Academics
Academics are an extremely important part of the Zainab Rehabilitation Centre. Our aim is to provide appropriate education to children with special needs in order to help them become as indpendent as possible. Each child works according to his/her strengths.

Criteria
Mild : 50-70 can be educated.
Moderate : 34-45 can be trained.
Severe : 20-34 Can be managed
Profound : Below 20, Can be given a sheltered environment.
