Key Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic structured cabling systems in line with BICSI and TIA/EIA standards.

Install and configure data network equipment (active and passive components) such as switches, routers, patch panels, and racks.

Carry out UPS and power systems installation to support ICT/ELV infrastructure.

Execute ELV system installations (CCTV, access control, fire alarm integration, etc.) as per project requirements.

Perform cable routing, dressing, labeling, and proper documentation.

Conduct certification testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Fluke).

Troubleshoot cabling and system issues to ensure seamless operation.

Ensure all installations comply with health, safety, and quality standards.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and team members to ensure timely project delivery.

Maintain and secure tools, equipment, and materials required for installations.

Requirements:

BICSI Installer Certification (Installer 1, Installer 2 Copper, or Installer 2 Fiber).

Proven experience in structured cabling, ICT/ELV installations, UPS, and power systems.

Strong understanding of data networks, passive & active components.

Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.

Proficiency in using cable testing and termination tools.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Physically fit to perform installation tasks (climbing, lifting, working in tight spaces).

Willingness to travel and work flexible schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional certifications in ICT/ELV systems, safety (OSHA/NEBOSH), or vendor-specific cabling systems.

Hands-on experience with data centers, telecom infrastructure, or enterprise ICT systems.

Knowledge of integration of ELV systems with IT infrastructure.
