Gatron (Industries) Ltd belongs to the Gani and Tayub Group (G&T) and has been operating since 1980. These seven decades of experience have allowed Gatron to grow into the biggest producer of Polyester Filament Yarn in Pakistan. With its factory located in Hub, Balochistan, Gatron is also a publicly listed company on PSX (Pakistan Stock Exchange) and operates across the globe. The G&T group is an industry leader in numerous products. These include Polyester Yarn, PET Resin, PET Preforms, PET Bottle, BOPET Film, PET Sheet, Fashion Apparel, Home Textile, Retail, Logistics, and more.

Gatron embarked on its journey in 1980, marking the beginning of its remarkable timeline. Over the years, the company achieved significant milestones and introduced innovative products to the market. In 1988, we expanded our product range by introducing our PET line, which offered enhanced durability and versatility in various applications. This breakthrough allowed us to cater to a wider range of industries and establish ourselves as a leading player in the polyester market.

In 2004, the company continued its commitment to innovation by introducing PET preforms. These preforms revolutionized the packaging industry by providing a reliable and efficient solution for bottling and container production. With its high-quality PET preforms, the company enabled customers to streamline their manufacturing processes and enhance product packaging.

In 2017, the company took a significant step towards sustainability by introducing its recycled polyester yarn product Ecoron. This eco-friendly product was created from recycled polyester materials such as plastic bottles and containers, reducing environmental impact and promoting a circular economy. By offering Ecoron, the company aligned itself with the growing demand for sustainable solutions and showcased its dedication to environmental responsibility.

Most recently, in 2022, the company expanded its product portfolio further by introducing knitted fabrics. This addition allowed us to cater to the textile and apparel industry, offering high-quality fabrics with excellent performance and aesthetic appeal. By venturing into knitted fabrics, the company demonstrated its adaptability and commitment to meet evolving customer needs.
