Job Description
- Each supervisor is responsible for their individual shift and should be at work five minuets before the start of the shift. Both supervisors should handover the change after a short meeting.
- Overlapping of workers is compulsory in order to achieve productivity.
- Quality: the primary responsibility of the production supervisors is to ensure quality. No operator is allowed to print a job without stamped approval. The approval stamp defines certain procedures which have to be strictly followed. Continuous monitoring of each job has to be carried out and sheets have to be signed on a hourly basis on each machine. Under any circumstances quality will not be compromised.
Requirements & Skills
- Prepress: checking of films and plates holds great importance as it ensure quality in printing proper checking of films and plates should be done. In case of any problem the plates or films should not be accepted.
- Job docket system: Job docket system should be efficiently managed as it ensures trouble free work.
- Shade cards: Each job will be followed as per client approved shade card. In case of non-availability of shade card for any job shade cards should be developed immediately.
- Production report: production should be written report of each shift should be submitted.
- Housekeeper: production supervisors have to ensure that floor area is kept neat and clean.
