Job Summary
We are looking for a Manager procurement and administration who is passionate about effective communication and coordination with customers around new, ongoing or future procurement requirement. Responsibilities would include scoping hardware, with the help of projects team. Working with Engineering, Project Management and Security departments to ensure correct hardware is procured at the best price and delivered on time and on point according to customers expectations.
Core requirements:
- Work with procurement companies for quotes, purchase orders, invoicing etc.
- Research suppliers and vendors that meet the goals of the company
- Meet with supervisors and department heads to understand the needs across the company
- Forecast needs and supplies
- Review requests for proposals (RFPs) and SOWs
- Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Delegate tasks to the procurement team (at a larger company)
- Train new employees and support team members as necessary (at a larger company)
- Collect and analyze data to ensure the company is making the best decisions
- Find suppliers that have certain certifications, accreditation, and insurance, along with a steady stream of materials that fit within budget restraints
- Work with AM team for Change orders.
- Work with PMO team for scoping and pricing.
- Preparing Change orders.
- Preparing and managing SOWs.
Requirements & Skills
Requirements
- Masters in Business Administration.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a buyer.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Excellent at communication and coordination.
- Attention to details.
- Self-motivator.
