Senior PHP Developer - Remote / Online

ITFoster LLC is seeking a talented and results-oriented PHP Developer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with team members to design and develop new applications and processes that are innovative, scalable and secure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in PHP development.
• In-depth knowledge of PHP, including its synchronous behavior.
• Expertise in MVC design patterns.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Proficiency in object-oriented PHP programming.
• Experience with popular third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, Stripe, etc.).
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance (as needed).
• Familiarity with common PHP and web server vulnerabilities and their mitigation strategies.
• Ability to design and implement scalable applications.
• Knowledge of user authentication and authorization processes between multiple systems and environments.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
• Understanding of the limitations of PHP and the ability to develop workarounds.
• Skilled in creating database schemas to support business processes.
• Bonus: experience with monitoring solutions.
• Focus on writing clean, scalable, and secure code.
• Knowledge of automated unit and integration testing.
• Passion for following best design and coding practices, and a willingness to develop new and creative ideas.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and custom PHP development.
• Experience with popular third-party APIs and payment gateways (Google, Facebook, 2checkout, Stripe, etc.).
• A portfolio of web-based applications and scripts developed.
• Mastery of JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Good knowledge of web servers.
• Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Experience integrating web services.
• Knowledge of responsive layouts.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility (Chrome, IE, Firefox, Safari, and Opera), and general web functions and standards.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
