Job Description
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Assigns and evaluates the work of accounting and systems analysts, and program staff regarding development or modification of financial and accounting systems.
- May assist with performance evaluations of accounting and systems analysts and programming staff.
- Designing report based on financial data including operational and overheads expenses, procurement, revenue and profit calculations ideally generated on Power BI.
- Analysing financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting and operational metrics tracking.

- Developing financial plans and reports for organizational leaders.
- Analysing industry trends and making recommendations based on those trends.
- Evaluating capital expenditures and depreciation.
- Developing automated reporting and forecasting for more efficient use of data.
- Developing strategies to cut down costs and maximize profits.

- Meeting the top management and Chief Executives or CEO.
- Studying Financial statements in detail, digging deeper into ownership structure.
- Forecast quarterly and annual profits.
- Review accounting transactions for data accuracy.
- Maintaining confidentiality of financial information and investment decisions.
- Comparing anticipated and actual results and identify areas of improvement.
- Participating in budgeting (for departments and projects).
- Working with data analysis team for support related to financial analysis projects.
- Guiding the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
- Reviewing complexed financial accounting work processes, systems, and procedures for efficient workflow and conformity with accounting principles.
- Gathering and compiling information on processes, organisational structure, computer technology, policies, and procedures.
- Analysing and reviewing proposals for any system related to financial accounting methods, policies, and procedures; recommending improvements.
- Analysing system design alternatives and identifying potential improvements to existing systems and processes.
- Collaborating with appropriate staff to gather input and feedback concerning system needs.
- Resolving issues and problems related to system platforms.
- Managing or facilitating the procurement, development, and implementation of qualified systems.
- Prepares and delivers comprehensive evaluations, proposals, and recommendations to executive leadership, committees, and other stakeholders.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills
- Experienced in developing financial models.
- Excellent Financial Reporting Skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards.
- Expertise in MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas)
- Ability to present financial data using detailed reports and charts on a visualization tool such as Power BI/Tableau
- Familiarity with finance databases
- Demonstrable strategic thinking skills
- Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information
- Strong decision-making skills.
