Education Welfare Officer 3

We are recruiting Education Welfare Officer (Male/Female) for an Education Welfare Foundation based in Lahore.

The postholders will be responsible for

• To undertake the statutory duties and responsibilities placed within the Education Welfare Service that relates to children of compulsory school age

• Collect the data of underprivileged families highlighted by the foundation.

• Maintaining confidential records of support for all students referred.

• Ensuring all children of compulsory school age are in receipt of education

• Get them admission in a respective class, arrange their school uniform, books, monthly school fee, stipend and school pick and drop.

• Support children to return to full-time education where they may have additional needs and attendance issues

• Working directly with schools by providing guidance to reduce school absence and initiate strict action on persistent absent pupils

• Regular supervisory visits to Schools

• Monthly data collection of students’ progress.

• Conduct regular meetings with school teachers for progress.

• Submission of monthly progress report to the higher management.

• Experience in a similar role working with both schools and other services within an education setting or similar

• Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to form good working relationships with a range of internal and external colleagues.

• Familiar with the surrounding area and the best possible method of traveling

Personal Skills & Qualities

• Education: Bachelors in Social Sciences with vocational training and certifications
• Experience Required: Three years of experience working in an inner-city school or educational establishment.
• Experience working with challenging students and parents, and finding ways in which we can meet their needs more successfully.
• Self-Transport: Selected candidate should have their transport.
