System Engineer 10

Job Responsibilities:

Administrate infrastructure, including storage, databases, malware protection software and other processes

Take ownership to maintain the virtualization system (VMware)

Provide technical support for windows servers and manage the configuration and operation of windows server operating systems

Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns

Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution

Take full ownership to work with various teams to resolve any server related incidents

Be actively involved in the planning & implementation of new projects

Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support with on-call rotation

Must have operational knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and the experience creating and managing Group Policy Objects

Experience with Microsoft operating systems

Experience implementing or managing Citrix (Xenapp/Xendesktop), FusionAccess etc.

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, FusionCompute) etc.

Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory Policy Management and Storage Area Networks.

Recent and relevant hands-on experience with the administration of database (MS SQL/Oracle) backups and restores

ITIL Knowledge (Incident /Problem /Change Management)

Experience in scripting – bash, Perl, or Python, etc.

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.

For L1 engineer, at least 1~3 years of experience in System administration, maximum 6 years of experience in System administration.
