Job Description
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Taking lead on projects, as needed.
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Requirements & Skills
- Strong concepts of OOP.
- Proficient in PHP / Laravel Framework / Wordpress Development.
- Experienced building web-based applications and scripts with proven portfolio work.
- Expert knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJs HTML5, and CSS3.
- Experience building modern web services using XML, REST, SOAP and compatible with Mobile App platforms.
- Knowledge of Codeigniter / Magento / Joomla / Drupal is plus.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies.
- Experience in integrating different web services.
- Experience in common third-party APIs (Amazon,Google, Facebook, 2checkout, Zendesk, Ebay etc).
- Good verbal & written communication skills.
- Should be able to work independently and as a team player.
