The doctor is responsible for performing checkups, giving recommendations to the patient, making a preliminary diagnosis in the case of issues, and referring the patient to a specialist if needed.

Doctor must have what is called a good "bedside manner" -- a positive attitude toward patients. He must be able to handle pressure and act quickly. He must be committed to lifelong education, as medicine is constantly changing.
