Job Description
A furniture showroom requires services of an interior designer.
The applicant's duties shall be;
1. Preparing drawings/Layouts and quotations for clients, rendering and preparing presentations.
2. Space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment, and color coordination, interior design drawings, materials, mock ups & finish samples and interior design finish boards. Selection of furniture, accessories, fabrics, window dressing, etc.
3. Formulate environmental plan to be practical, aesthetic, and conducive to intended purposes.
4. Plan and design interiors for residential, corporate and exhibition booths as and when required.
5. Responsible for interior designing of showrooms and advise to clients.
6. Requires coordination with clients and internal departments.

Requirements & Skills
Applicant should have the following skills l qualifications;
1. Preferably an NCA graduate with working experience in relevant field.
2. Diploma in Civil/Interior/Architecture, furniture design, wood work.
2. Command on AutoCAD (2d, 3d) (Exeprienced)
3. Expertise in 3D Max, Photoshop, Sketch up, Corel Draw.
4. Minimum Two years experience in any Wood/Design Firm.
5. Should have good aesthetic sense
6. Excellent design and spatial planning skills, with in-depth knowledge of design detailing and specifications and a good eye for composition, materials and color.
7. Proven time management skills and highly organised working methods.
