Junior Architect - Remote

We are looking for a bright and dedicated Architecture Graduate to work in our consulting firm. Under the guidance of the Project Manager, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining construction documents (CAD).

The ideal candidate will be focused and results-driven, will have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and will be able to interact effectively with people.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creation of Structural and Architectural drawings, Performing calculations to ensure structures meet International building code.

Job Duties and Tasks

• Operate Computer Assisted Drafting (CAD) system.
• Ability to understand and interpret architectural drawings
• Obtain and assemble data to complete task.

Job Requirements

• Familiarity with International building code.
• Familiarity with wood framing design used in North America. (Provide porfolio or past project related to Wood design if available with resume)
• Completion of an undergraduate civil engineering program.
• Working knowledge of specialized software used in the department (MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit).
• Proficient with 3D AutoCAD design and drafting.
• Implement and follow CAD standard
