CAD Operator / Technician 5

DACI Utilities Engineering Consultancy Limited is looking for CAD Technicians & Operators for its electrical and multi-Utility design office in Islamabad. The candidate should have a knowledge of AutoCAD 2D/3D and Revit with a good drafting experience. Candidates who have worked on Revit shall be preferred.

This is a full-time position offering and a competitive salary.

Responsibilities:

- Liaison with the Team Lead, other CAD Technicians, and clients to ensure smooth communication and flow of information.

- Producing rough sketches and developing detailed electrical and civil designs on AutoCAD 2D/3D inline with the design processes. The deliverables would include the electrical and civil drawings, schematics, and layouts. Training shall be provided for all elements of designs.

- Generating reports, documents, training material, workflows and organizational processes to ensure successful and timely completion of projects.

- Design completion and submission to the network operators. Assisting team lead in obtaining the approvals in short lead times.

- Ensuring drawings are compliant with building regulations, G81 standards, and engineering principles.

- Diploma in drafting, BTech or BE Electrical/Mechanical, preferably with 1+ years of practical experience with CAD software.

- Experience with CAD software applications and/or drawing packages including, but not limited to AutoCAD LT 2D/3D and REVIT.

- Knowledge and experience of Construction documentation experience would be preferred.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.
