Warehouse Operations Manager

WHO WE ARE

Apparel House specializes in sourcing, grading, packaging and exporting of garments, home textiles and shoes from Pakistan. Currently, we are seeking a warehouse /operations manager to join our team to head the operations within our warehouse in Pakistan. This professional multitasker will manage and oversee the receiving, handling, storing, grading, and packing activities within the warehouse and ensuring quality standards are met at every turn along with maintaining existing and developing new relationships with our suppliers. Our ideal candidate should be exceptionally detail oriented, being able to track multiple facets of our operations at any given time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency, with quality control and shipment punctuality being the primary goal, by supervising, organizing, directing and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals.
• Develop warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, resource utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
• Train and manage a warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.
• Perform financial management duties including generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the finically health of the company.
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account statements and reconciliations.
• Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and vendor relations.
• Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport incoming product to our warehouse as well as outgoing container shipments; by communicating with local suppliers and freight forwarders to ensure our merchandise is being transported in and out efficiently and within the required time frame to meet our strict deadlines.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years experience in a warehouse lead role managing
• 5+ year of experience with textiles and garments
• Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
• Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
• MS Excel and QuickBooks
• Business savvy with a strong Financial background
• Ability to work with all levels of company staff
• Comfortable delivering frequent direct feedback
• Strong in developing and overseeing management information systems
