Job Responsibilities

• Prepare lectures to deliver about basic principles of a foreign language as well as information related to that culture
• Develop course materials for students to complete in the classroom and in their free time, which includes handouts, essays and additional homework assignments
• Evaluate students’ performances, including grading homework assignments and making note of how well students participate in discussions
• Establish consistent office hours so students can meet with you outside standard hours
• Act as an advisor for student and help them polish their speaking, reading and writing skills
• Speak with students’ parents to inform them of their child’s progress during a particular course
• Collaborate with management to develop policies and create an overall better learning environment

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in a foreign language – Preferred not compulsory
• Certification to teach a specific language will be a plus
• Ability to lead a classroom of students belonging to various cultural backgrounds
• Ability to make each student feel special

Prior experience in online teaching will be a plus.
