Duties and responsibilities
· Develop Java-based web and internet applications
· Produce high quality code within given deadlines
· Participate in testing and system integration testing
· Engineer software through its complete life-cycle
· Research and understand product requirements to ensure successful beta test and product launch
· Work according to Manager’s instructions
· Follow company policies
Skills
· Experience building high-performance Java systems, performance tuning, and stress and load testing
· Strong programming skills
· Experience with agile/SCRUM methodology is an advantage
Additional experience with:
· Oracle
· MySQL
· Linux
· Shell scripting
Qualification and Experience
· Minimum Bachelors degree in the relevant field
· Certifications in Java and various database technology is an advantage
· Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience of working in the relevant field
