1. Generating new ideas and designs.

2. Making sketches by hand or on computer.

3. Developing Patterns.

4. Analyzing trends in fabrics and colors.

5. Suggesting fabrics and trims.

6. Supervising the making up of final dress.

7. Ensuring quaity control.
