Job Description
- Create expressive character animation portraying a wide range of emotions
- Create high-quality animations by utilizing both hand key animation and motion capture data
- Script, plan, and create animated narrative sequences under tight deadlines, using computer software and hand drawing techniques.
- Give and receive constructive, creative feedback across teams
- Create prototypes and mock-ups of new types of ideas
- Animates realistic, story-driven character actions that are exciting, emotional, and compelling.
- Animates creatures, props, vehicles, and cameras, as well as actions based on storyboards, script pages or descriptions.
- Creates scene layouts using a library of assets.
- Composes and animates cameras in a cinematic style.
- Comprehend and execute direction from the management
- Brainstorm and conceptualize ideas, with the ability to produce concept sketches and quick concept edits
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required. Preference is a degree in design, graphics or the creative arts.
- 4+ years of experience in a corporate environment, creating design work.
- Expert level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong knowledge of the creative process from both a strategic and execution standpoint.
- You’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail with the ability to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them seamlessly into images, layouts and other designs.
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
