Job Description
- Preparing, reviewing and transmitting claims using medical billing software
- Identify and billing to secondary or tertiary insurances
- Follow up on unpaid claims and rejections
- Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancies in payments if necessary
- Works on follow up of assigned claims with open accounts receivables via insurance portal or insurance calls
- Appealing denied claims
Requirements & Skills
- Must have 1 to 2 Year of AR experience in Medical Billing Company
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Strong Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Ability to multitask in fast pace environment
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of coding, billing cycle and insurance guidelines
