Job Description
- Design and develop advanced software applications. Build on one or more platforms which include but not limited to iOS, Android, and web apps.
- Evaluate strategies and make recommendations on changes and improvements.
- Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new functionalities on the different platforms.
- Consult with other team members and implement solutions in-line with the departments’ visions.
- Continuously learn and keep up to date with emerging technologies to evaluate impact to business and member value
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean code
- Design interfaces to improve user experience
- Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards
Requirements & Skills
- Master/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering with 5 to 8-year experience.
- Proven experience as an app developer.
- Proficient in Swift, Cocoa Touch and Kotlin.
- Extensive experience with iOS Frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation. Android SDK as well.
- Knowledge of iOS/android back-end services.
- Knowledge of Apple’s design principals and application interface guidelines.
- Proficient in code versioning tools including Mercurial, Git, and SVN.
- Familiarity with push notifications, APIs and cloud messaging.
- Experience with continuous integration.
