Job Description
- Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT administration role
- Hands on experience in networking, firewalls, server machines, windows/linux OS.
- Excellent knowledge of best practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
- Ability to set up and configure server hardware
- Familiarity with backup and recovery software and methodologies
- Great at organizing, prioritizing and multitasking
- 2+ years’ experience in an IT administration role
- Previous experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008, 2012, and 2016, MSSQL 2008, 2016 preferred. MCSE, CCNA MCITP certifications a plus
Requirements & Skills
- Maintain servers and associated hardware, applications, services, and settings.
- Identifying and solving any problems that arise with computer networks and systems
- Provide support with a variety of operating systems to users.
- Implement and manage disaster recovery and back-up.
- Create technical support documentation for systems and applications.
- Monitoring computer networks and systems to identify how performance can be improved
- Strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex technical issues. Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
