Health, Safety & Environment Officer

• Experience in the safety field in a manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility, preferably in the chemical industry.
• Must identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks, raise safety awareness and improve safe work practices.
• Collaborate with appropriate department personnel to resolve identified hazards.
• Assist in monitoring contractors and construction activities to ensure safe work practices are being followed.
• Investigate industrial accidents, near-miss accidents, and occupational injuries to determine causes, install preventative measures and manage the return to work activities.

Candidate must be certified of Health, Safety & Enviroment

1 - 3 years’ of experience in occupational health and safety.
