Communication Consultant 10

Major Responsibilities

1. Support health department in development and implementation of communication action plan for strengthening routine immunization and MNCH services.
2. Provides technical support and assistance in the research, development, pre-testing, and production of culturally relevant communication materials.
3. Partnerships for social mobilization and Community participation
4. Capacity Building, Coordination and collaboration with government and partners for effective community outreach and engagement.
5. Supportive Supervision/Monitoring of communication activities

Skills/Knowledge

1. Knowledge of principles, practices, methodology and techniques of C4D particularly in health sector
2. Excellent spoken and written communication skills
3. Understanding of Rights-based and Results-based approach and programming
4. Computer knowledge, skills and practical experience, including internet navigation, network, telecommunications and various office applications.
5. Proficient in local language(s)

Qualification

University degree in the social/behavioral sciences, mass communication or other related field(s) that complement communication for development (C4D) work. Advance university degree would be an asset
