Job Description
- Assist the ILRI scientists in the design and execution of training, as well as assist in the analysis and reporting.
- Assist in the supervision of activities supporting the section, in order to contribute to meeting the capacity building objectives.
- Develop, propose and execute capacity building activities to stakeholders involved in the livestock sector in general and dairy sector in particular for the improvement of the dairy industry.
- Collaborate in the design, and implementation of capacity building activities at provincial, distric and village level.
- Collaborate in the supervision of the work assigned to field trainers, to ensure the trainings are performed in compliance with established quality standards.
- Carry out special investigations as assigned by your project manager.
- Make periodic reports and on the M&E tasks assigned to your training activities.
- Participate in the publication of training and communication materials through manuals, guides, electronic software.
- Contribute to the training and updating of knowledge to the rest of the project staff, and keep updated on new research findings or processes.
- Visit and supervise training activities of collaborators.
- Assist in taking care of ILRI scientists and visitors and arrange field trips and M&E activities.
Requirements & Skills
- An ability to work in multidisciplinary and a proven record of collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills in English and in Sindh Languages and the ability to communicate to diverse audiences.
- Experience in working in Sindh province and willingness to work/travel to other districts in Sindh Province.
- Excellent MS office suit skills
- Fluent in english and Sindhi language
