Job Description
- Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, robust and reliable Java code.
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs of existing and new projects.
- Work with leading APIs or SDKs (CloudCaaS, RestComm, etc) to create or extend application functionalities.
- To study and provide solution to clients and in-house requirements.
- Work as a full stack developer from app designing all the way to development, testing, deployement, publishing and release management phases.
- Design sensibility and UX knowledge is a plus. Experience with Android and IOS style guidelines.
Requirements & Skills
- Excellent debugging, optimization skills, backward compatibility support
- Working experience with Firebase and other cloud services.
- Ability to work in a team enviroment.
- Strong Java/OOP skills.
- Strong knowledge of Android & IOS SDK, different versions of Android & IOS, and how to deal with different screen sizes. Have published at least 3 to 5 commercial grade Android or IOS apps.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android & IOS applications to back-end services.
- Strong knowledge of UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
- Familiarity with the use of additional sensors, such as gyroscopes and accelerometers.
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks, like volley, faceAPI, Kendo UI etc
- Ability to understand and elicit business requirements and translate them into technical requirements in SoW document, SRS document etc.
- Ability to break down Project’s task into a WBS and correctly estimate timelines.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding multi project enviourment and meet strict timelines.
- Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications, both FCM and GCM.
- Familiarity with version control (GIT or SVN).
