Network Administrator

A Leading Fashion Retail Organization based at S.I.T.E Area _ karachi, have an immediate Opening to Join its I.T Department for follwoing tasks;

• Should be able to plan, Design and Manage the large-scale network infrastructure involving multiple ISPs
• Should have good understanding of the capabilities of local ISPs, their infrastructure, strength and weaknesses
• In-depth knowledge of local ISP’s buried and aerial presence and service coverage areas.
• Policy Implementation for Security, Internet Usage, Email & File sharing.
• Must have knowledge of hardware and software involved in Layer 7 monitoring.
• Hands on experience and working knowledge of Routing, Switching and System Administration.
• Deployment, Configuration and management of Mikrotik router
• Configuring overall network security (firewall, IPS, DMZ).
• Bandwidth Shaping, Publishing, WEB Access and Application Control.
• Deployment Management and configuration of Cisco Layer 3 routers and switches
• Configuring and troubleshooting of Wireless APS RUCKUS , TP Link and D-link.
• Administrating & designing LANs, WANs, internet / intranet networks.
• Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems
• Hands on experience and knowledge of ip based CCTV monitoring systems, video codecs and compression techniques to optimize bandwidth consumption.
• Hands on experience on IPPBX telephony systems preferably Asterix and FreePBX and PTA licensing involved.
• In-depth knowledge of Servers and Network Hardware (routers and switches) and their capabilities and limitations
• Hands on expertise on retail surveillance and security systems (checkpoints, walkthrough gates, scanners, hard tags and soft tags)
• In-depth knowledge on RFID and MSR cards and tags.

• Strong Understanding of Latest I.T Trends.
• Must have Bachelor's degree concentarted on Computer Sciences
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Must be able to conclude tasks with minimum supervision.
• Must be a Team player.
