Deputy Manager-Mechanical

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage, organize and control an efficient mechanical engineering department including the management of Technicians and Workers.
2. Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance on all of the side projects, and other equipment in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety.
3. Responsible to lead the team of technicians for installation, commissioning and maintenance of plant, machinery & heavy mobile equipment.
4. Provide a mechanical engineering advisory service to other sections within the company.
5. Manage unplanned work resulting from breakdown and emergencies, making sure they are dealt with in efficient manner by prioritizing as required for the provision of a 24 hour callout service.
6. Manage the administration of the mechanical department and Ensure all log books, Job cards and departmental records are effectively maintained to enable stock control, ordering of parts and all other tools functions operate efficiently.
7. Produce monthly quarterly and annual statistics and management reports, to review performance and recommend procedural enhancements.
8. Manage and formulate cost estimates for work required from assign projects.
9. Identify and deal with any potential disciplinary issues.
10. Develop a procedure for accidental damage to equipment which is reported by staff, including a reporting process, review of incident, suggested outcomes.

Experience: At least, 5-10 years in-depth post qualification experience in Plant, Machinery & Heavy Mobile Equipment Maintenance & Workshop Practices.

Education: Minimum B.E(Mechanical)
