Android Developer

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for design and development of mobile applications for various Android platforms. Translation of designs and wireframes into high quality code. You will have to ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identifying bugs and resolve with best solutions.

Technical skills required:

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
• Extensive knowledge of full life cycle development of mobile applications
• Hands-on experience with Design Patterns, UI for multiple screen sizes.
• Experience with Google APIs, JSON and Web Services
• Familiar with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of the open-source Android libraries available for common tasks
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the application
• Experience publishing or updating Android application on the Google Play Store. Plus point: have at least one Android app in Play Store
• Understanding of code version controls such as Git
• Good problem solving and debugging skills
• Good team player and self-motivated
