Transport Supervisor

• Maintain drivers discipline including their duty schedule, general conduct, driving discipline / accidents & complaints on drivers conduct/ driving discipline & vehicle route record.
• Ensure smooth flow of school staff to and from schools daily.
• Orientate drivers with their area of responsibility and safety.
• Ensure maintenance/ road worthiness of transport including in house/out source maintenance.
• Source drivers along with spare drivers as per holding of transport of respective region.
• Arrange inquiry of drivers including their test, credentials verification, police registration & verification of their licenses.
• Formulate drivers duty roster regulate activity catering (spare/reserves) for absentees weeded out drivers.
• Plan/Organize security of transport to include parking of vehicles, leakage of fuel /CNG fire fighting equipment, Security lights functioning, employment of guards, opening & closing of garage & earmarking of work area, rest areas.
• Liaise / coordinate with police in case of accidents including report/F I R registration.
• Ensure timely entry in the transport module of the Information Systems.

• Knowledge of vehicle mechanics, names of components, assemblies and their functions
• Well versed with repairs/maintenance procedures &policy of TCF on the matter

Should have an exposure of handling transport fleet of over 10 vehicles at least.
