Data Centre Officers

The Job: Maintain, monitor, analyze and troubleshoot data center equipment and software. Report to Data Center Manager, the status of all events as per the escalation procedures. Plan, direct and coordinate daily activities. Other responsibilities include but not limited to Deployment and administration of domain and network segments, ensuring the security procedures for Data Center across KBL, performing data backup activity as per backup policy, maintaining IT appliances manual, documentations and their configuration, monitoring and updating anti-virus definition files for servers and maintaining schedules, maintaining environment control for the Data centers/IT rooms, supporting in testing disaster recovery plans for the Data Center Perform other duties as assigned by the Data Center Manager.

The Candidate: - Bachelors in IT/Engineering from a reputed HEC-recognized university/institution with preferably of two years of experience of supporting data center/server room operations - Must have a good knowledge of Data center standards - Experience in maintain HP/IBM/DELL Servers - Experience in maintaining Data Backups and relating technologies - In Depth knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio, TCP/IP, Microsoft Client & Server base environment. - Network certification (MCSE/CISCO) preferred. - Ability to articulate effectively in both oral and written form - Aged below 28 years
