Job Description

  • Perform desk side support service per pre defined service process.
  • Manage workflow and service requests through ticketing system.
  • Software instalation, configuration and troubleshooting for end users.
  • Hardware and software upgrades.
  • performance of IT support duties as defined by the appropriate IT Support team leader
  • Monitor,analyze and address reliability and performance issues.
  • Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/ benefits.
  • Works with 2nd level support group to assist with application design/development/upgrade testing and implementation.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
  • Candidate must be Familiar with Microsoft & Linux systems.
  • Familiarity with fundamental Linux commands.
  • Familiarity with System Logs, Directory structure of various Linux Distros.
  • Ability to monitor services on Linux production servers
  • Familiarity with Physical/ Virtualized Linux environments.
  • Working knowledge in Opensource PABX Asterisk, Freeswitch would be prefered
  • Training in (Microsoft, Network & Linux) would be preferable.
  • Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience.
