Job Description
- Perform desk side support service per pre defined service process.
- Manage workflow and service requests through ticketing system.
- Software instalation, configuration and troubleshooting for end users.
- Hardware and software upgrades.
- performance of IT support duties as defined by the appropriate IT Support team leader
- Monitor,analyze and address reliability and performance issues.
- Analyze problems, develop creative solutions and assess risks/ benefits.
- Works with 2nd level support group to assist with application design/development/upgrade testing and implementation.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology
- Candidate must be Familiar with Microsoft & Linux systems.
- Familiarity with fundamental Linux commands.
- Familiarity with System Logs, Directory structure of various Linux Distros.
- Ability to monitor services on Linux production servers
- Familiarity with Physical/ Virtualized Linux environments.
- Working knowledge in Opensource PABX Asterisk, Freeswitch would be prefered
- Training in (Microsoft, Network & Linux) would be preferable.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience.
