QA Engineer- Web And Mobile App

Quaid Tech is looking for a QA Engineer- Web and Mobile App’s. Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with at least 3-4 years of Web and Mobile App’s Testing experience and a zeal to excel in a fast growth environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Defect logging and defect tracking until bug closure
• Takes ownership/responsibility for the product quality
• Support development in Bug reproduction
• Understand the existing test cases and executing them on each client’s flagship device release time line
• Create test cases covering all aspects of mobile testing for new features.
• Plan, Monitor and Control the testing activities and tasks
• Ability to design and develop test plans, test strategies, test cases and test results reports.
• Ability to design Regression test suite based on defects and impact analysis.
• Create and track the defects with application teams until their closure.
• Create and distribute the test results reports and dashboards for various stakeholders
• Identify and propose areas of improvement throughout the QA/Software Testing process.

• Strong experience in writing test cases and test plans is a must
• Expertise in Client-Server, Mobile Apps, Web application and Java/JSON API testing is mandatory
• Good Oral and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with Web services testing and XMLs & Data Warehousing
• Experience in designing and implementing the test automation frameworks and Performance testing tools
• Experience with Cross browser testing, cloud based testing, backend testing, mobile platform testing in QA environment
