Mechanical Design Engineer

1. Design technically advanced products while thriving in a creative, high volume, working environment.
2. Actively support New Product Development (NDP) projects from concept to post release with strong sense of urgency and action.
3. Design and develop prototypes with scopes ranging from specific concepts to comprehensive, functional products.
4. Utilize intellect and best engineering practices throughout Pentair’s product development process (stage-gate).
5. Own essential design aspects such as specifications, 3D modeling, Finite Element Analysis, and CFD.
6. Have expertise in softwares like; Pro-E, Solidworks, CREO, Sketchup, Autocad, CATIA, Ansys, 3Ds MAX, and other relevant software.
7. Perform critical testing & analysis directly related to stress, flow, fatigue, tolerance, and reliability.
8. Execute design validation process through prototyping, field & lab testing, fixture design and design-of-experiments.
9. Oversee pilot builds and initial production runs of newly designed Pentair products.
10. Lead and facilitate cross-functional meetings and design reviews with peers and other talented engineering groups.
11. Complete clean sheet detailed design and analysis of engineering concepts and related components.
12. Collaborate with other Pentair Global Design & Manufacturing Centers as well as strategic suppliers.
13. Create and sustain pre-release drawing packages and product specifications with accuracy.

Expertise in softwares like; Pro-E, Solidworks, CREO, Sketchup, Autocad, CATIA, Ansys, 3Ds MAX, and other relevant software.

Should be able to design consoles for products according to the demanded international standards
