Intern - Video Production

We’re on the hunt for a skilled and resourceful video editing intern. We are looking for someone who is passionate about Automobiles, innovative and forward thinking. This position will support the Manager of Creative and Post Production, working in a fast-paced and high profile environment. This individual will be driven: one who embraces challenges with enthusiasm and proactivity, and believes that no job is too big nor too small.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with editing video with quick turnaround, skills in Adobe Premiere a must
• Conduct research and develop asset library, have a PhD in Google i.e. know your way around the Internet and be able to conduct research efficiently
• Participate in team creative brainstorms, using vast knowledge and passion for impressive video content
• Offer creative assistance in creation of multiple video projects in short timeline
• Assist with Video Production Agency for recordings outdoors and achieving timelines.
• Create format sheet document for production purposes for each assignment
• Passion for Automobiles; knowledge of current trends in automobile industry is a plus
• Organize assets and collateral into easily-navigable asset library

PakWheels.com was formed in 2003 and has become the largest community based automobile website in Pakistan with more than 350,000+ registered car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Around 30 Million pages are viewed on the site every month, with people searching classifieds, researching about brand new cars and motorcycles, discussing auto-related issues with other members, sharing information, pictures, videos, etc.-

Additional Responsibilities/Skills:

• Well-honed interpersonal skills
• Strong time and project management capabilities
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator, graphic design skills a plus, but not required
• Basic understanding of digital marketing a plus
• Advanced knowledge of all social and streaming video platforms, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.
• High attention to detail, organized and ability to switch gears without losing focus
• Events experience a plus (live newsgathering, on-site production, etc.)
• Above all, have a great personality, be ready to learn, and fun to work with!
