Procurement Manager

Candidate Should have 3 years experience of Procurement with B-Tech (Hons.) Mechanical Degree
Drawing study must be strong should know how to evaluate BOQ from drawing.
Make procurement plan in the light of production plan/material demand/indent
Make procurement budget as per procurement plan
Get quotations from potential suppliers and make comparative statement
Negotiate with the suppliers and issue purchase order to the most suitable suppliers
Follow up for timely material delivery
Stay updated with the material quality issues and take measures to eradicate them
Ensuring that documentation is being completed in parallel to the material supply
Ensuring that ledger of organisation and supplier is reconciled
Ensuring timely payment to suppliers
Maintain material sourcing sheet
Prequalify potential supplier
Maintain healthy relationship with suppliers
Keep updating the potential suppliers regarding future demands
Maintain inventory level to avoid material shortage
Keep in touch with production department to meet any kind of material urgencies

Should be proficient & Expert in Microsoftt Office
Knowledge of the available suppliers, the current capacity situation
Strategic thinking
Ability to work in teams
