Psychologists tap into a variety of thinking skills, from analytical skills for research to problem-solving approaches during treatments.

Computers are important tools in the field of psychology, so practitioners should have electronics know-how. Psychologists use laptop computers to take notes and flash drives to download large reports and client files. Software is also part of the business.
