Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and network administration. The role involves managing an Active Directory environment, providing technical support to users, handling software and hardware issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & User Management
Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user and group creation, access rights, and security policies.
Install, configure, and support Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Ensure user access and permissions are correctly assigned as per company policies.
Network & Security Support
Configure and troubleshoot IP addressing, DHCP, and DNS issues.
Support network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity and performance.
Assist in maintaining network security, including firewall policies and access controls.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Provide 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software issues.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues for end-users via phone, email, or in person.
Support IT systems, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Software & Inventory Management
Install, update, and troubleshoot various enterprise applications.
Maintain an up-to-date inventory of hardware and software assets.
Ensure all IT equipment is properly documented and accounted for.
Other Responsibilities
Assist in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
Document troubleshooting steps, processes, and solutions for future reference.
Provide training and guidance to end-users on IT best practices.
