What you'll be doing

Ibnesina Clinic, a community-focused health and wellness practice serving Islamabad and surrounding areas, is seeking a qualified female medical doctor to join a multidisciplinary team that includes nurses, health technicians and a dispenser. The successful candidate will provide compassionate primary care, collaborate with clinic staff to deliver integrated services, and help maintain high standards of clinical safety and patient satisfaction. This is a clinic-based role with regular outpatient hours and occasional coordination with laboratory and pharmacy services.

  • Conduct patient consultations, perform physical examinations and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret routine diagnostic tests and collaborate with nurses and health technicians for sample collection and follow-up.
  • Prescribe medications appropriately and liaise with the dispenser to ensure accurate dispensing and patient counseling.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, document encounters, and ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with clinic protocols.
  • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling tailored to patients’ needs.
  • Participate in case reviews, staff meetings and coordinate referrals to specialists as required.
  • Support quality improvement efforts, infection control practices and maintain equipment and supplies readiness.
